Playworkers
The Hollow Lane Club employs a large number of playworkers to support the young people who attend our clubs. Many of these playworkers are also employed by Ellen Tinkham or Bidwell Brook schools so have excellent experience and knowledge of the range of conditions and needs that our children have.
We also have many staff that are embarking on teacher training courses and want to gain additional experience of working in a special needs settings. We have also had trainee speech and language therapists and physios working for us, who bring an additional range of experiences and qualifications to our staff team.
We often advertise for vacancies before the summer club, but may have openings all year round.
If you are interested in working for us please contact Mary Roche, General Manager.
All staff, volunteers and Trustees are subject to DBS checks and references.
Trustees
The Hollow Lane Club is managed by a team of volunteer trustees who oversee all aspects of the club.
Many trustees are parents of children that attend the club. This keeps our focus on ensuring the best possible service for our users and ensures we are held accountable for all our decisions. We currently have six trustees.
Anyone interested in finding out more about the role of our trustees and how to join the board should contact current Chair of Trustees via .
